The ITMS platform integrates all Traffic Control, Enforcement functions, Public Address System, Traffic Surveillance at one location. It has a travel time module. This module utilises Bluetooth+WiFi reader data and ANPR data as the source of traffic information in the Integrated Traffic Management System. The module has a robust outlier identification and removel method so that it provides accurate travel time estimates.
Area Traffic Control System
Area Traffic Control System (ATCS) is an intelligent real-time dynamic traffic signal control system that is designed to effectively respond to rapid variations in traffic conditions. It is an advanced traffic control system that uses vehicle data from detectors and optimises traffic signal time in real time. Adaptive algorithms in ATCS identify the critical junction on each corridor or region and determine the cycle time for all the junctions in the corridor or region based on the optimal cycle time for the critical junction. The algorithms also dynamically determine the offset between adjacent junctions in a corridor or region. The ATCS system is designed to work using data from a variety of detectors such as Inductive Loop Detectors (ILD), magnetometers, traffic radars, video based detectors and thermal cameras.
The ATCS system is integrated with a traffic microsimulation tool such that traffic models can be dynamically updated based on near-real-time traffic detector data. ATCS has the facility to manage incident related information. The incident module is also linked with the traffic models so that a simulation based what-if analysis can be used for planned traffic incidents and disruptions.
Average Speed Violation
All vehicles passing through the control section at a Speed greater than a determined speed limit (values to be made configurable via software) shall be detected as violation and System shall produce two images relative to any vehivle in violation, one for each detection point and the value of average speed detected.
Red Light Violation Detection

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)
ALPR systems automatically captures an image of the vehicle’s license plate, transforms the image into alphanumeric characters using optical character recognition or similar software, compares the plate number acquired to databases of vehicles of interest to law enforcement and other agencies and sends alert to the officer when a vehicle of interest has been observed. The process typically occurs within seconds. The ANPR technology enhances enforcement and investigative capabilities, expands the collection of relevant data and expedites the process of manually comparing vehicle license plates with lists of stolen, wanted and other vehicles of interest.
Moniroting the Entry/Exit Points
The city has Traffic Entry and Exit Points and we can monitor the entry and exit of all the vehicles at these points. We can count and classify them. We can identify the traffic patterns based on different time zones. We can do the traffic planning based on this data. We offer ANPR too at these junctions.
